NUS Wind Symphony

Since its inception in 1968, the NUS Wind Symphony (NUSWS) has managed to establish itself as one of the premier wind bands in Singapore's music scene. Under the baton of Mr Francis Tan, the Music Director and Resident Conductor, members hone their technical and musical skills even in the midst of the pandemic. NUSWS emphasizes on creating quality music while exposing members to a wide range of quality repertoire of varying difficulties. Aiming to encourage wind band advocacy in Singapore, NUSWS also provides platforms for members to share their experience and passion with younger band members, through events such as the WBAS Youth Band Festival and the Youth Arts Leader
