WIND ORCHESTRA

For the first time ever, the internationally acclaimed Osaka Shion Wind Orchestra will perform in Singapore this July as part of the 10th Singapore International Band Festival, WBAS Symposium 2026, and in celebration of the 60th Anniversary of Singapore–Japan Diplomatic Relations.

Across two evenings at the NUS University Cultural Centre – Ho Bee Auditorium, audiences will experience the artistry and sound that have inspired generations of wind band musicians around the world.

GALA: Japanese Masterworks

An evening dedicated to iconic Japanese wind band repertoire and symphonic masterworks featuring Japanese composers, Naohiro Iwai, Bin Kaneda, Toshio Mashima, Yasuhide Ito, Hiroshi Oguri, Akira Miyagawa and Eiji Suzuki.

SHOWCASE: POPSTAGE: New Sounds in Brass Feature

Featuring favourites from the legendary New Sounds in Brass series — from jazz and film music to Japanese pop culture classics many of us grew up listening to in school bands.
