The Anglo-Chinese School (Barker Road) Concert Band is a performing ensemble consisting of members of the woodwind, brass, and percussion families of instruments. The Concert Band has grown by leaps and bounds, whilst faithfully embracing qualities of strict discipline and dedication to training and thus achieving Accomplishment Award in the Singapore Youth Festival (Arts Presentation) for both Concert Band and Percussion Ensemble in 2021. In line with the school’s motto ‘The Best is Yet To Be', the Concert Band believes in the value of diligence and strong teamwork in the continual quest for musical excellence.
