St. Joseph's Institution Symphonic Band: A Legacy of Harmony.
With a proud history spanning 69 years, the St. Joseph's Institution Symphonic Band (SJISB) stands as one of Singapore’s most distinguished musical ensembles. From its humble beginnings as a bugle and fife band in 1957, it evolved into a military band by 1963, before embracing its present identity as a symphonic band in 2020.
Today, SJISB thrives as a vibrant community of passionate musicians, united in their pursuit of musical excellence and dedicated to honing their craft while cultivating a strong spirit of collaboration.
