Formed in 2003 and revitalised in 2023, the Singapore Wind Symphony Youth (SWSY) comprises students from secondary and tertiary institutions who seek to develop their musical and leadership abilities beyond the classroom.

SWSY benefits from performing with and learning from the Singapore Wind Symphony (Main Band). In July 2024, SWSY was awarded Gold and named the Division 1 Champion, and was 1 of 4 bands curated for the Asia and Pacific Band Directors’ Association Conference’s Showcase Concert in 2025 within its 3 years of revival.

SWSY continues to strive for championing high quality wind band music and increased accessibility of music to all.
