SemPer, short for Sembawang Percussion, is the vibrant percussion ensemble of Sembawang Secondary School. Since debuting at the Singapore International Band Festival (SIBF) in 2022, they have quickly risen as a promising presence in the band scene. Guided by passion, discipline, and unity, the ensemble earned a Certificate of Distinction at SYF 2023, Gold Award and Division Champion at SIBF 2024, and another Distinction at SYF 2025. Beyond accolades, SemPer nurtures teamwork, resilience, and character, inspiring members to grow as musicians and individuals while making a lasting impact on and off the stage.
