Originally established as a military band in 1965, Raffles Girls’ School Symphonic Band (RGSSB) is one of Singapore’s oldest school bands with more than 60 years of rich history. Since then, RGSSB has built a positive reputation within the school and wider community, delivering captivating performances at national platforms such as SYF as well as our biennial concert, Cadenza, a decades-old tradition which we hold dear to our hearts. Through our music, we hope to tell a story that resonates deeply with both the audience and all of our members, reflecting our motto “RGSSB: in tune with your hearts”.
