Nanyang Concert Band, formerly known as Nanyang Military Band, began as a 30-member brass band in 1969, and has since grown into a 90–member Concert Band. Over the years, the band has been led by many illustrious conductors in Singapore, such as Mrs. Jessie Ho-Tan, Mr. Lee Seck Chiang and Ms. Samantha Chong. NYCB takes part regularly in the Singapore Youth Festival Arts Presentation. The band performs regularly in school events and also holds its own concert biennially. Since late 2017, the band has been led by Mr Louis Yeo Pai Tiong.
